Saturday, 26th September, Knowle Hill Chew Valley (B)
A walk from Chew Stoke across mainly fields to Knowle Hill before descending to the Chew Valley Lake recreation path. We walk alongside the lake and over the Dam before returning to Chew Stoke.
Sunday, 27th September, Combe Down and Claverton (B)
A walk on the downs South West of Bath and a visit to Claverton village.

Sunday, 4th October, Cider with Rosie and me! (B)
Basically, this walk is around Slad mainly following the Laurie Lee Wildlife Way and with related poems hence the earlyish start! Being the Cotswolds a bit hilly with lovely views if clear. Lunchtime drink at The Woolpack Inn, Slad
Wednesday, 7th October, Tresham and Alderley (B)
Unspoiled Cotswolds, on well-defined paths and taking in a stretch of the Cotswold Way. Possibility of great views throughout the walk. Moderate hills and a few stiles. There may be livestock in fields so NO DOGS, please. The walk takes in Alderley, where we shall stop for coffee at the church (bring own drink and snack). No refreshments in Tresham but, on return journey, the Cross Hands pub on A46 is a possibility for lunch.
Sunday, 11th October, West Mendip Hills (A)
Through a gate at Tynings farm, we head straight up to Black Down and descend toward Dolebury Warren (SSSI) and Iron Age hill fort, Continuing to Dolebury Bottom to cross A38, our walk reach Lyncombe hill and down to Winscombe to join Strawberry line - disused railway track - for about a mile. We then turn west to head to Crook Peak, the furthest point of our walk with panoramic views. We turn back to Tynings Farm following mostly West Mendips Way via Shute Shelve and Shipham. It is a gentle A walk with magnificent views across western Mendips, Bristol Channel and beyond.
Sunday, 11th October, Bathford to Colerne (B)
Some hills to climb along the walk and some muddy areas. From the start at Bathford we ascend up towards Batheaston and along St Catherine's Valley, then up towards Marshfield. From there it's along to the village of Colerne for pub and lunch stop. After a well earned rest we descend down towards Box and back to Bathford.
Sunday, 18th October, Dursley from North Nibley (B)
This is a lovely walk with several ups and downs. Some steep. Can be wet and slippery, but quite a lot of lanes. Nice views. pretty countryside and dramatic descent into Dursley. Please note there are one or two nasty stiles where there is no step.
Wednesday, 21st October, Timsbury / High Littleton (B)
A scenic 6-mile moderate circular walk starting from Timsbury Conygre Hall (BA2 0JQ). The route takes us through a mix of open fields and country tracks heading down into the valley to follow the peaceful Cam Brook through woodland. We pass Greyfield Waterfall and return to Timsbury village via the historic ha-ha path. Afterwards, there will be an optional, unbooked lunch or drink at the Seven Stars pub in Timsbury.
Sunday, 25th October, From Murder to Monks (B)
From Rode village hall we soon pass Road Hill House which was the scene of the murder of 3 year old Francis Savill Kent in 1860. (The book & subsequent film 'The Suspicions of Mr Whicher' was written about the case). We then walk along the river to Tellisford Mill before a gentle ascent through fields takes us to Wingfield. Further fields take us down to Stowford before another ascent to Westwood. From here we descend to Avoncliffe & a walk along the river to The Inn at Freshford for lunch. We then continue to the small hamlet of Friary (where the lay brothers to the Carthusian priory at Hinton Charterhouse lived) & onwards to Iford before passing the castle at Farleigh Hungerford. 50 steps (or a detour) & a quiet lane takes us past Farleigh House before returning to Rode.
Wednesday, 28th October, Swineford, North Stoke and Lansdown (B)
The walk ascends from Swineford Picnic Site to the attractive village of North Stoke and continues uphill to Lansdown golf course. Circumnavigating the golf course, the walk descends to Upton Cheyney and on down into Pipley Bottom. A steep climb to the edge of North Stoke and a final descent to the car park. If the weather is fine, fine views are to be had. The route can be muddy in places after rain.

Sunday, 15th November, Doynton Hinton (B)
Mostly field and lane walking, 2 steep climbs with excellent views to compensate. Lunch Stop is The Bull at Hinton.

Sunday, 20th December, Solstice Stomp (A)
This year's Stomp will start by heading down to Hotwells prior to entering the grounds of Ashton Court. From there our usual labyrinthine route will feature some places which have not been part of the Stomp for some time as well as favourites in a slightly distant order than before. The lunch stop will be in Easton-in-Gordano where a pub may be a popular attraction. The afternoon features some regular haunts but not always in the same order as they have been in previous stomps. As usual we shall reach the Suspension Bridge and the Observatory just after the sun has set.
